How it all began
WorkNomads was launched in 2021 with the vision of creating a nation without a country. Today, more than 150 employees live, work and enjoy their time across the whole world. Here’s how we got here.
It started with a belief
That your background should never define your destination, and that everyone should have equal rights, opportunities and freedoms in life. Observing that people will want to live and work anywhere and anytime it suits them best.
Building our home base
We officially launched WorkNomads on the same day we received the keys to our WN Lab Hotel. We started building our community while fully refurbishing our new home base.
WN Lab Hotel is a new concept, it serves as a lifestyle hub for our nomads and clients where we redefine the boundaries of traditional living and workspaces.
WorkNomads today
Three years later our dream vision is becoming closer to reality. Our workforce is over 150 people strong with over 25 nationalities and working remotely from different continents.
Our WN Lab Hotel serves as a creative safe haven for our nomads, our clients as well as people working and travelling to Sofia, looking for a community. To the best of our knowledge, there’s currently no other company with the same business model as ours.
About tomorrow?
We aim to become a top-quality remote consulting services company where people and companies recognize and reap the benefits from a diverse community and skill set, as there is more that unites us than divides us.
We want to create multiple WN Lab Coliving facilities around the world, more notably in Asia and South America, serving the needs of our global workforce and clients.

A truly global team
We’re a team with a backpack full of different backgrounds, experiences and nationalities. Yet, we all encountered the same challenges in our work lives. It brings us all together, determined to build a better future, a nation without a country.
What’s in a name?
We don’t believe in titles, we believe in people. So we don’t have managers, vice presidents or directors in our team. Instead, we have spotters, digital trailblazers, queen bees, totemists, alchemists, grand jugglers, housing rainmakers, e-commerce traffickers, and many, many more. We like to work as much as possible with a flat management structure and let people stand up and take responsibility when it’s their level of expertise or their drive to do so.
